Today’s Modern & Intelligent Green Buildings and Sustainable Architecture offers spaces and built environment that is designed and constructed through processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout the building’s life-cycle. From Site Selection to Design, Construction, Operation & Maintenance, and Renovation of Existing structures are all the need of the hour. This entire process requires close coordination between all stake holders such as the Design Team, The Architects, Building Engineers, and the Occupants at all stages. The Green building practice complements the classical building design and concerns of occupant’s well-being, operational economy, durability, and comfort.
However, several new technologies are constantly being developed to compliment the current practices in creating sustainable structures, with the objective to build green. Such buildings are designed to reduce the overall impact of construction activity and materials on human health and the environment.
Some of the best Green practices include:
- Use of natural resources, recycle and reuse materials
- Using energy efficient equipment
- Efficient use of resources such as energy, water, and other natural resources
- Protecting occupant’s health and improving quality of life
- Reducing waste, minimizing pollution and environmental degradation
The session focused on best Green practices, sustainability, conservation of resources, built environment, energy & water efficient practices and new innovative technologies to improve Indoor environmental quality. This program was attended by over 250-300 invitees including Architects, Real Estate developers & builders, MEP Consultants, Corporate decision makers, Green product manufacturers, and educational Institutions.
